Kelly + Nick :: Douglasville, GA Wedding Photographer ::

Hey Everyone! Molly here!
Last Month we headed to the Atlanta on a cold and snowy weekend to photograph Kelly and Nick's wedding. We had never met Kelly or Nick before, so we had no clue what to expect. When we got to the church for rehearsal we were greeted by some of the nicest people, and within an hour we felt like we knew Kelly, Nick, and their families. These two laughed at each other all night, and that's how we knew we had b.f.f.s on our hands! The wedding day was cold and hectic, but Kelly and Nick remained calm and kept each other warm with hugs and kisses. Yay!

Kelly and Nick's entourage had about 8 kiddos to get ready. Not EVERYONE was enthusiastic about their hair =).

Kelly's eyes were beautiful! She told us that they change between blue and green.

Kelly and Nick decided to do a private reveal. It was so sweet!

Douglasville had the cutest courtyard area downtown. The "snowdrift" sign on the bricks + the snow + Kelly + Nick =Looove.

I'm so glad these two braved the cold, wetness, and melting icicles to get these shots!
We love couples who are willing to go a little further for good photos!

Luckily, Kelly had a little silliness around her to keep her sane.

I loved this detail. Kelly's dad passed away a few years ago, and her mom had each of her sisters (and her) a necklace made with his fingerprint. Kelly had him with her the whole day.

The ceremony was held at Ephesus Baptist Church.

After the ceremony, everyone headed back down to the Douglasville downtown conference center, which was decorated beautifully.

They had a sweet first dance.

A little snowy ring action.

So, the kiddos were SO cute. I wanted to take all of them home with me. Cristina told me it was illegal, and I thought their parents might miss them..so I left 'em.

There were a lot of photogs around! =)

Kelly danced with her mom, and then some of her dad's good friends and some of her family cut in. It was very sweet. Cristina bawled (and maybe I did too..maybe).

Then it was Nick's turn to dance with some special women.

I think he wins the "get low" contest. haha!

Thanks Kelly and Nick for letting us spend the day with you. We hope you love your photos!
