A goodbye kiss...

I haven't blogged any from Shaner and Britt's wedding, but thought I would post just one. When I culled all the images the first time, I missed this one..I don't know how. It may just be me, but I love to watch the interaction between father and bride on the wedding day. It's a special correlation of emotions; a bittersweet pride. Anyway, Cristina and I went to art school with Shaner. She is an amazingly fantastic artist, and one of the kindest people I know. But here, in one of the last images I took of the night.. I don't know why, but I love it. Her father's goodbye kiss.

Updates!

Hey everyone! Molly here.
So, I finally made a couple of updates to the website..nothing major...just some botox.
Here's the major thing I changed. The calendar. I don't have time to play web master and photographer so I have lagged terribly in the "updating the calendar" section of my job...so I made a calendar that syncs with out studio management software, iCal, and the website. So now I can EASILY update the calendar twice a month. Woot! Woot!
Really, I don't think anyone is as excited about this as me. In fact, I'm not sure why I'm posting a blog about it. It's not as pretty as the old calendar, but at least it's up-to-date!

Maggie + Caleb

Ok, so Maggie and Caleb are models. Well, I mean they should be. They are hottie-mc-hot-couple. Anyway, they got married on top of the world in Jasper, GA. I wish every couple was this easy to work with...but I guess that would make our jobs boring. I rarely had to prompt them on what to do next...they are just in love..and hot. Anyway, we are expecting their eleven kids to start showing up soon.
Maggie used her mother's wedding dress,
and tweaked it a bit to bring it to 2008. Very Sweet!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is in Georgia.

See? I told you they are a hot couple! Is that weird of me to say?

Brooke + Chase

Brooke and Chase were married in the oldest church in Milledgeville a few weeks ago. This couple is one of those that you just know can handle all the bumps in the road. They were one of the sweetest couples to work with. I feel like we have been lucky to get sweet couples as clients. Anyway, they did a first sight session, where they see each other and get the photos over with before the ceremony. So we drug them to a nearby field and stuck them in the hot sunshine. They didn't complain once. Not even when Brooke got a few (six) praying mantises stuck in the layers of her dress. It was worth it though. We got some awesome field pictures. They oooze true love.
The first sight.

Love on a legal pad.

Banks Lake..

Cristina and I have been editing like crazy these past couple of weeks. We are still trying to get caught up on July weddings (we are OCD on making the pictures perfect)! Anyway, last week my husband and I took the day off for our 8 year anniversary of when we started dating.. Of course then it wasn't really dating. It was more like Mario Golf, walks, and movies on Friday night. Whatever..we were fourteen. Well, we went on a photo-excursion to a magical place, not too far away from our town called Banks Lake. Well, maybe it was only really magical for the mosquitoes and gators, but we had a fabulous time taking photos and comparing. I love that he loves what I love. He was using the camera he gave me that really got me into photography four years ago, and he actually took some amazing photos. Now, I am waiting for 172 photos to save and he is playing Call of Duty..so I guess I'll stop writing and post some photos already!

This one is of the cypress trees that are everywhere in the lake!

Macro! My husband took the one below of the dragonfly. He's pretty awesome, yes?

Cutie Carolyn

Hey everyone, Molly here! A couple of weeks ago I had a chance to reunite with some friends from high school and meet their daughter, Carolyn, for the first time. She is such a cutie pie and a ball of energy!

At first, she was shy, and wouldn't let Lucy Lamb out of her sight.

There's that ball of energy I was talking about! Soon, all she wanted to do was RUN!

Every once in a while we bribed her to stop for a second and look at the camera.

Did I mention she likes to play "peek-a-boo"?
